Gotta love newborn photos. Their tiny little features and the details of it all. *sigh*

I have always been a bit “baby crazy”, but even more when they belong to my good friends.

Congrats, Erica & Josh. We love you.

Liam is 6 weeks old, but still tiny and very sleepy. This was great for this North Dakotan family. What a pleasure to photograph Liam and his parents. They are sweet and loving…and we laughed a lot! (Seems to be  a trend with my clients.)

His mom knit this beautiful little hat on the way down to the Twin Cities because I had suggested having a colorful hat for the pictures. Jolly, you’re a rock star!

These picture of Liam and Jolly are so beautiful…they express exactly what a baby does to your heart. He brings a sense of peace.

And the way Liam’s daddy, Pete, looks at him just melts my heart.

Liam, you are a precious gift to your family and to the world. What a blessing to be able to be a part of your life.

There is something precious about capturing a baby within the first 10 days of life. I was blessed to be able to photograph Paige on Friday.

It was “her time”! She was happy and smiled, during our shoot.

Where is this happening?

TBD. I will be picking an outdoor location for each day. Some will be urban and some suburban. One day will be an indoor session at my new studio location. The studio sessions will be great for business headshots.

he was such an easy baby. She was awake for a while and then fell asleep in our arms.

When she was sleeping, we could do whatever we wanted and pose her however we liked. Perfect!
