Drew & Melanie – Algona, IA

Tuesday, August 24th, 2010

This day was perfect. It took me so long to get  through all of the images and decide on which are my favorites…there were too many great shots!

What a beautiful couple on a fantastic day!

On our way to IA, my assistant and I would see all these great places to shoot and I’d say, “I hope they have…near their house!” A dirt road lined with trees, a field of corn, a dilapidated barn, old cars, and on and on. The images speak for themselves.

Drew and Mel, It was a pleasure photographing your day. You are incredible people and I am excited to see where God takes you in your lives. All my best, ali

Heather & Jeremy – Wedding

Saturday, August 7th, 2010

As I went through Heather and Jeremy’s images, all I could see is the love they have for one another, so I decided to write one whole blog post just on the images of the two of them. These images don’t really need any more words…

Congratulations, you two. It was a pleasure photographing your day.

Laura & Peter Wedding – 7.18.10

Saturday, August 7th, 2010

Laura and Peter are two of the sweetest people I have met. They live their lives to love and serve people. What an amazing way to do things.

The power went out at Naz Chapel on Northwestern College’s campus and, if you know that chapel, you know it’s dark anyways. But, everyone had great attitudes and there was a beautiful candlelight ceremony. I wouldn’t have imagined it any other way.

So many great moments and details in their day. They were the first couple to have a wedding reception “after party” on the island at Northwestern College in St Paul. Love it! Tents, tea lights, lanterns, yard games…the works. So unique and so perfect!

Here are a few of my favorites from Allison & Wayne’s wedding photobooth.

Allison & Wayne – 7.17.10 – Wedding

Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

Wayne and Allison were so easy to photograph. Everything about their day was beautiful.

Chalkboards are a theme in Allison’s family. Her mom, a teacher, has them all over her house. Sweet notes, the family calendar, special events…everything is written on chalkboards.

The first moment when a couple sees each other is priceless. Wayne and Allison’s expressions say it all.

J Crew dresses for the bridesmaids and amazing flowers give fantastic texture to these shots.

Stunning locations make the day just that much easier for us to capture. St Mark’s Cathedral and Nicollet Island Pavillion, both in Minneapolis, were great choices.

This was the perfect way to start a journey together.

Alli and Wayne, I enjoyed capturing your day and am honored to be a part of it. ENJOY!
