New Life Family Services

Friday, August 20th, 2010

New Life Family Services is a beautiful organization that gives tso much toe their clients.

Each year, we do a shoot to give NLFS images of their own clients to use for their advertising and other needs. Here are a few of my favorites. These children are so beautiful! I had to narrow down three times!

Make a Wish II

Monday, August 9th, 2010

This year’s sessions have blown me away. The families are so loving and appreciative. It’s a pleasure to meet each of them and hear a piece of their stories.

Please consider donating your time, talent or finances to support the Make a Wish Foundation of MN.

This beautiful girl was looking at her mom. What a priceless moment.

Siblings of Wish Kids are often the most gentle, caring people. I was impressed by these two and their relationship.

To get a picture of all THREE boys smiling…now that is an amazing accomplishment, don’t you think?

“I wish to go to the set of Transformers” – love the genuine smile as this Wish Kid shows of his prized possession, the signed Transformers DVD, from his Wish trip to Chicago. He brought along several action figures, t-shirts, his press pass, and even his camera still filled with images from his trip.

This little guy is anticipating seeing “Nickey Nouse”. He and his family were so sweet and appreciated the photo shoot. It’s especially great to know that people will treasure the images.

This guy’s wish was to have a Clubhouse. He sure got it! This building has a loft and is filled with IKEA furniture…and, boy, does he LOVE it!

This set of siblings are going to Barcelona, Spain to watch a soccer game for his Wish!

What an honor to be a part of Make a Wish, MN for the last four years. Here’s to MANY MORE!

Make a Wish

Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010

This is the 4th year that I have photographed children from Make a Wish, MN. This organization is amazing to work with. The families blow me away with their strength, wisdom and love. Here are a few of my favorites for 2010.

From Disney World to building playgrounds in backyards, to meeting famous people like Steve Jobs…Make a Wish, MN is grating the dreams of children.

Families also have the opportunity to have free portraits with whomever they bring to the shoot: grandparents, siblings and whole families take advantage of these services. I am proud to be a part of this wonderful organization.

We offer free photography of each individual child, with props and drawings that represent their wishes. The organization uses the images for their website and print materials. Watch for the pictures during the Holiday Season at the Mall of America.

2011 Calendar – Hope Chest for Breast Cancer

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

I have the privilege of photographing the calendar for the Hope Chest for Breast Cancer again this year. Today was the first shoot of 12 we’ll be doing. The stories of our “calendar girls” are inspirational.

When a mom is diagnosed with breast cancer, most often, it seems, her children become her #1 reason to fight for her life. Beautiful.

Calendars can be purchased online at their website. Also, there will be a calendar release event on Saturday, September 11. More details to come.
